We have moved our Distribution Center location a few times over the past 40 years to ensure we had enough space to serve our customers as we have grown. In 2006 we built our current Distribution Center giving us enough space to expand well into the future. This state of the art facility is 160,000 square feet, storing our wide range of products as well as the location of much of our support teams. Recycling is a top priority to our Distribution Center recycling 4 1/2 tons of plastic, 7 tons of batteries, 80 tons of metal, and 176 tons of cardboard during the year.
Our DC team gets to enjoy a bit more casual work environment, but they are not shy of hard work. With only about 40 team members working at our Distribution Center they tend to build great friendships and have a strong focus of teamwork and dedication to our customers. With just 6 different departments we have a wide range of positions from those who do the physical labor of building, fixing, moving and delivering product in our Inventory, Quality Assurance, Service and Delivery departments to our office teams who assist our guests over the phone with their Delivery, Service and Repair needs. Then to add one last unique department, we even have a small sales team who help our guests shopping in our Clearance Center located at our Distribution Center. At the end of the day if our team isn’t tired from all their hard work there is a work out facility available for our whole company to use.
