Cafe Team Member
BlvdHome is looking for an individual to join our Team at BlvdHome's Cafe located inside our St. George Store. With this Cafe located inside a Furniture & Appliance Store it is not your normal fast food restaurant. The BlvdHome Cafe is able to provide shoppers with a lunch break as they decide on what couch, bedroom set, appliance or even what type of flooring they want to purchase for their home. Or the Cafe may provide for some guests as a nice stop to rest their feet and enjoy a nice cold drink and a homemade dessert as they enjoy the beautiful furniture displays around BlvdHome's showroom floor. At the BlvdHome Cafe you will also be assisting guests who come in just for the amazing food provided by the Cafe. With one of the most delicious Hamburgers in town on a homemade bun many guests come in just to eat and get the extra treat of the beautiful furniture showroom surrounding them. With the Cafe being open to the public from 11am-5pm you will have a great schedule for this position not having to work shifts late into the evening.Skills needed:
• You will need to be able to work in a team atmosphere and be able to make your Team Members look good.
• You will need a food handlers permit.
• You will spend your whole shift on your feet preparing food and taking care of the customers.
• During each shift you will do the following: Preparation of Vegetables & Cheese, Meat (which includes a slicer and knives), Other misc. preparation and table preparation. As well as taking orders from customers which includes taking their payments at the register.
• You will need to be able to help with keeping the Cafe at the required cleanliness level at all times including doing dishes, sweeping and moping floors and also deep cleaning.
• You will need to work with a fryer, hot grill and building salads and sandwiches.
• Having a positive attitude at all times and good communication skills will be needed. You will need to be able to speek some English.
• You will need to be flexible to different hours during specials sales and Holidays as needed.
• As you complete your daily tasks and get supplies you will be moving food supplies to prep tables, putting away new shipments and moving other equipment in the cafe which will require you to be able to lift 20-30 lbs regularly throughout your shift each day.

Schedule:
We are open to hiring 1 full-time Team Member or 2 part-time Team Members.
The full-time position would work Monday - Saturdays from 9am-5:30pm with Sundays off. Other hours may be needed during special sales and Holidays.
The first part-time position would work Monday, Thursday and Saturdays from 9am-5:30pm. Other hours may be needed during special sales and Holidays. With the second part-time position working Tuesday and Friday from 9am-5:30pm. Other hours may be needed during special sales and Holidays.
Salary:
• $14 per hour + tips (Tips can at least add $1 more an hour)
• $750 hiring incentive paid throughout the first year
