Delivery Helper

Boulevard Home is looking for hard working Team Members to join our Delivery Team based out of our Distribution Center in Hurricane. We have a Driver and a Helper on each of our trucks each day delivering furniture and appliances into our customers’ homes. As we typically hire Delivery Helpers, our goal is to teach and train Team Members to help them advance in their careers and move into a drivers position to increase their pay. Team Members who have a strong work ethic, good problem solving skills and customer service skills can do very well on our Delivery Team.

Skills needed:
• Having prior experience in delivering Home Furnishings products into homes would be preferred.

• Must have the ability to lift heavy furniture and appliances during the entire shift as you will be loading trucks with furniture and appliances in the morning and doing multiple deliveries a day.

• You will be delivering items into customers’ homes and assembling the pieces together. Having mechanical knowledge including the use of tools and equipment and learning how to assemble furniture and install appliances will be beneficial to you to help you advance in this position.

• Having exceptional customer service skills will be required as you work with our customers over the phone and face to face on a daily basis.

• Being able to work well in a team is very important as you will be working with different drivers each week and other departments throughout the company on a daily basis.

• Must be able to make good judgment and follow company procedures with safety of yourself, your team mates, our guests, the public, their homes, and our equipment, etc.

• Will be expected to have a great attitude a strong work ethic to be successful in this position.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position working Tuesday – Saturday, with an occasion of working Monday-Saturday and having a day off during the week. The shift starts at 7am and ends when you are finished with your deliveries for the day.

Salary:
• $20 per hour with the opportunity to earn more through our commission structure.
• $750 hiring incentive paid throughout the first year
