Furniture Display Designer

Boulevard Home is looking for an individual with an eye for design to join our Display Team at our St. George store. You will be working with our display team and buyers to merchandise the sales floor with items such as sofas, entertainment centers, mattresses, tables, pictures, accessories etc. Being able to work effectively with others will ensure daily tasks get completed and assist in helping the store look appealing for our guests.

Skills needed:
• In this position you will need to have experience in interior design and have a knowledge of the principles and elements of design. You will need to know how to incorporate these principles and elements into aesthetically pleasing furniture and accessory displays on a daily basis.

• Several times during the year you will be involved in the preparation and set-up of all décor for large themed sale events for all of our locations.

• Light lifting on a daily basis will be required as you will move pictures, lamps and accessories around the sales floor to create an inviting atmosphere for our customers to shop.

• You will need to have a driver's license to travel between stores to help with staging needs. A company car is available for most situations, but in the event one is not available, having your own reliable transportation is needed (mileage reimbursement is available for using your own transportation).

• You will need to have a good attitude and be able to work well with you fellow display team members, buyers and other team members at BlvdHome.

• You will need to be friendly and have good customer service skills as you interact with our guests while on the sales floor.

• You will need to be flexible in your daily tasks so you can assist other team members with the display of merchandise.

• To succeed in this position you will need to be honest and have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a team atmosphere.

Schedule
This is a Full-Time position working Monday-Friday working from 8am-5pm. This position will also require you to work holidays excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Salary:
• $17/ hour
• $750 hiring incentive paid throughout the first year
