Sales Associate - Bargain Barn

Boulevard Home is looking for a self-motivated and hard-working individual to join our Furniture Sales Team working in our Bargain Barn and our Clearance Outlet located at our St. George Store. You will need to have a willingness to provide great customer service and maintain product knowledge of all furniture products including Mattresses, Living room, Bedroom, Dining, Home Office, Outdoor furniture and more. Being Detail oriented in all aspects of the sales process to ensure our guests are taken care of will also benefit to your success in this position.

• In this position you will need to learn about the products Boulevard Home provides and have the ability to sell all items that we have in our St. George Store including Mattresses, Living room, Bedroom, Dining, Home Office, Outdoor furniture and more.

• You must be detail oriented, and be a self-motivator as you will need to be able to qualify our guests needs or wants and be able to convey the best possible options for them and their living space. This could include taking measurements, picking out fabric, suggesting brands etc.

• In order to succeed in this position you must have excellent communication skills and good customer service skills as you create a positive rapport with guests and will be working directly with them and other departments throughout the company on a daily basis.

• You must maintain knowledge of current sales or promotions and keep up to date with ongoing offers to provide accurate information for our guests.

• Basic computer skills will be required as you will be writing up sales, credits, cancellations, looking up inventory, searching special order information and vendor websites on a daily basis.

• You will need to have a personable and positive attitude and be able to work in a team atmosphere to ensure our guests are provided with quality service.

• Having previous sales experience would be helpful, but is not required in this position.

This is a part-time position working Wed, Thurs and Sat from 10am-7pm. Must be able to work holidays excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas.

$12.00 per hour + 1% Commissions (current average $13 per hour)
