Furniture Display Designer
Boulevard Home is looking for an individual with an eye for design to join our Display Team at our Mesquite store. You will be working primarily with our Mesquite store team as well other display team members and buyers at BlvdHome to merchandise the sales floor with items such as sofas, entertainment centers, mattresses, tables, pictures, accessories etc. Being able to work effectively with others will ensure daily tasks get completed and assist in helping the store look appealing for our guests.
Skills:
• In this position you will need to have experience in interior design and have a knowledge of the principles and elements of design. You will need to know how to incorporate these principles and elements into aesthetically pleasing furniture and accessory displays on a daily basis.
• Several times during the year you will be involved in the preparation and set-up of all décor for large themed sale events.
• Light lifting on a daily basis will be required as you will move pictures, lamps and accessories around the sales floor to create an inviting atmosphere for our customers to shop.
• You will need to have a good attitude and be able to work well with your fellow display team members, buyers and other team members at BlvdHome.
• You will need to be friendly and have good customer service skills as you interact with our guests while on the sales floor.
• You will need to be flexible in your daily tasks so you can assist other team members with the display of merchandise.
• To succeed in this position you will need to be honest and have a strong work ethic and be able to work in a team atmosphere.
• You will need to have computer skills as you will be looking up inventory and adjusting inventory locations on our NetSuite during your entire shift. Other programs you will need to become familiar with is Paylocity, Discord, Gmail and a general knowledge of windows would be helpful.

Schedule
This is a part time position. Monday – Friday working a 7 hour shift between the hours of 9am-6pm. You will also need to be available to work other hours for special events as needed.
Salary: $17 per hour
