Delivery Driver
Boulevard Home is looking for hard working Team Members to join our Delivery Team based out of our Distribution Center in Hurricane. We have a Driver and a Helper on each of our trucks each day delivering furniture and appliances into our customers’ homes. As we typically hire Delivery Helpers and promote to driver, at this time, we are hiring a Delivery Driver. Team Members who have a strong work ethic, good problem solving skills and customer service skills can do very well on our Delivery Team. Skills needed:
• For this position you will need to hold a current CDL and DOT medical card.
• Must have the ability to lift heavy furniture and appliances during the entire shift as you will be loading trucks with furniture and appliances in the morning and doing multiple deliveries a day.
• You will be delivering items into customers’ homes and assembling the pieces together. Having mechanical knowledge including the use of tools and equipment and knowing how to assemble furniture and install appliances will be beneficial to you, but not required.
• Having exceptional customer service skills will be required as you work with our customers over the phone and face to face on a daily basis.
• Being able to work well in a team is very important as you will be working with different driver helpers each week and other departments throughout the company on a daily basis.
• Must be able to make good judgment and follow company procedures with safety of yourself, your team mates, our guests, the public, their homes, and our equipment, etc.
• Will be expected to have a great attitude a strong work ethic to be successful in this position.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position working Tuesday – Saturday, with an occasion of working Monday-Saturday with Sunday and another day off during the week. The shift starts at 7am and ends when you are finished with your deliveries for the day.
Salary: $20-22 per hour DOE
