Furniture Technician

Boulevard Home is looking for someone with a high commitment to customer satisfaction to join us as a Furniture Technician on our Service & Repair Team located at the Distribution Center in Hurricane. The right person for this job must be good with tools and able to problem solve on your own. You will be troubleshooting and repairing furniture in customers’ homes and at the shop located in our Hurricane Distribution Center. The ideal candidate will have a patient and friendly attitude when dealing with fellow team members and customers.

Responsibilities:
• Inspect and repair furniture.

• Perform mattress inspections.

• Learn and use computer program to navigate our inventory system.

• Must be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills to complete all assigned daily tasks.

• Effectively and patiently communicate with customers and team members.

• Provide exceptional customer service.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Requirements:
• Candidate must be first & foremost, DEPENDABLE & honest.

• Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.

• Have a working knowledge of repairing wood, upholstery, leather, and parts replacement is ideal, but we are willing to train.

• Ability to lift and move items up to 100 lbs., sometimes by yourself.

• Aptitude for craftsmanship and strong attention to detail.

• Willing to learn.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm.

Salary:

• $18+ per hour DOE
• $750 hiring incentive paid throughout the first year
