Flooring Sales

Boulevard Home is looking for a self-motivated and devoted individual to join our Flooring Team. Having a willingness to learn and gain product knowledge of all flooring products we have at BlvdHome will ensure our guests are provided with great customer service and will help you be successful in this position. Being proficient with numbers and detail oriented as you're doing on-site measurements and providing feedback for our guests on the best possible options for their living space will also be needed for a smooth and efficient sales process.

Skills:
• Having prior experience in flooring and window coverings would be preferred, but is not required in this position.

• A strong willingness to learn as you will need to gain product knowledge necessary to sell all of our flooring products.

• Proficiency with numbers as you will be doing on-site measurements and creating estimates for individual jobs.

• You must be detail oriented, and be a self-motivator as you will need to be able to qualify our guests needs or wants and be able to convey the best possible options for them and their living space. This could include taking measurements, suggesting different options, picking out colors etc.

• You must maintain knowledge of current sales or promotions and keep up to date with ongoing offers to provide accurate information for our guests.

• You will need to have a great attitude and have the ability to create a positive rapport with our guests. Basic computer skills will also be required as you will be writing up sales, looking up inventory etc.

• Possessing excellent communication and customer service skills will be essential to your success in this position as you will be working with other Team Members, Installers, and guests on a daily basis.

• Having great follow up and follow through is a must.

• You will need to have good computer skills as you will be looking up customers accounts and doing various other duties on our inventory system NetSuite during your entire shift. Other programs you will need to become familiar with is Paylocity, Discord, Gmail, Google Drive, general knowledge of windows and having a knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets would be helpful.

• You will need to have a valid drivers license as at times you may be driving out to customers homes to do measures.

Schedule
This will be a full-time position Monday – Saturday with a day off during the week working from 10am-7pm and be able to come in at 9am on certain days for training. You will also need to be available to work other hours for special events as needed.


Salary: • $40,000 - $85,000 (Commission with guarantee)
