Buyer's Assistant
Are you a master of the details? BlvdHome is looking for a proactive, highly organized Buyers' Assistant to join our Buying Team located at our main store in St. George, UT. In this role you will be part of the "command center" for our inventory, requiring a mix of high-speed data entry, vendor coordination, and organizing logistics for our incoming orders. If you are a problem-solver who enjoys a fast-paced environment and has a "get it done" attitude, you'll fit right in with our buying team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Data Integrity and Entry: Create and maintain SKUs with accuracy, including item numbers, product descriptions, and pricing.
• Order Management: Enter PO's into NetSuite and verify quantities and pricing. You will match the PO's with vendor acknowledgments, reconcile receiving paperwork with invoices, and track shipments to provide the sales team with accurate ETA's.
• Inventory Optimization: Assist the Buyers in identifying slow-moving products, managing canceled special orders, and reviewing returns/damaged goods to keep inventory "Clean."
• Floor Merchandising: Periodically assist the buying team on the showroom floor with tagging and repricing. Occasional same-day travel to other store locations might be required.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the buying team, sales, and logistics to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Being detail oriented to ensure accuracy and catch errors is key in this position.
• You will need to have a good memory and be very organized.
• To succeed in this position you will need to be able to multi-task as you will be switching back and forth between different projects throughout the day.
• You must be dependable and have good follow-through.
• You must be able to lift at least 30lbs.
• You will need to be quick with typing and 10-key, with a minimum of 40wpm, as you will be doing a lot of data entry.
• Being proficient on computers and skilled with Gmail, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets), and other computer functions is very important in this position. With the ability to learn other computer programs such as Paylocity, Discord and phone system.
• You will need to have a positive attitude and be a team player.
• You will need to have strong interpersonal skills for daily interactions with vendors, buyers, sales, receiving and delivery.
• You will need to be self-motivated enough to work independently, yet collaborative enough to thrive in a shared office space.

Schedule:
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday from 9am-6pm with an occassional Saturday. Other hours may be needed for special sales and Holidays.
Salary:
• $18 per hour plus DOE
